The Biological Resources Aquatics facilites operate on an agistment direct cost recovery system. This system is divided into 3 main categories:

  • Standard Agistment (zebrafish tank hire)

  • Frog Agistment (Xenopus)

  • Exotics Agistment

Agistment costs for an exotic model is variable and dependent on the animal, the animal's basic requirements and level of care, as well as the usage or acquisition of any special equipment.

Our cost of operations are benchmarked regularly against other fee-for-service research aquariums, to ensure we remain competitive and deliver the best service possible, giving you the best return on your dollar.
